Miniature Spray Guns Q&A

In this introductory video, I answer several typical questions that I commonly receive regarding the use of miniature spray guns for scale modeling.  This video, along with the following four videos can be found on my “Bits & Pieces” Youtube Channel.

Iwata RG-3

The Iwata RG-3 has a long history with airbrush artists.  Despite its long time use in the airbrush community, it is relatively unknown to most modelers who seem to be confused by the gun style format.  The RG-3 is, in actuality, a large adjustable round pattern airbrush.  Currently, Iwata also markets the RG-3 with a fan cap conversion, but as I explain in the video, because there is no separate adjustment for the fan pattern, this configuration offers less than stellar performance.  If you want an airbrush with a properly functioning fan spray, you should consider the Iwata Eclipse G6.  This video explains the design of the RG-3, how I set it up, and how to use it.
